Igor Nelson

Igor Nelson is an interdisciplinary researcher passionate about exploring the intersection between biology, energy, and human potential. His unique journey bridges computational biology, cell culture models, plant-based therapeutics, and bioelectromagnetics, bringing together cutting-edge science and the exploration of consciousness.

Throughout his career, Igor has:
🔹 Published peer-reviewed research on protein interaction prediction, saliva-based diagnostics, and the influence of electromagnetic fields on health;
🔹 Gained hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, functional bioassays, and electrophysiology at the University of Coimbra;
🔹 Dedicated over 2,200 hours to the study of natural medicine and plant based medicine, integrating traditional knowledge with modern biomedical approaches;
🔹 Worked extensively with computational modeling and AI, developing innovative simulations and algorithms to better understand biological systems.

Igor is leading VortexLab aiming to:

  • Investigate bioelectromagnetic phenomena and their impact on human health;
  • Contribute to discoveries interlinking consciousness, energy and living systems;
  • Develop and test alternative treatments with potential therapeutic use;
  • Explore new integrative approaches that combine modern biotechnology with holistic health practices.
